Netherlands Consulate in Malawi
The
Netherlands Embassy in Lusaka is also accredited to Malawi. However, for consular
affairs or consular information concerning Malawi, you can address yourself
to the Netherlands Honorary Consulate in Malawi. The Consulate does not have
the capacity to issue visa. Tourist visa needed for travelling from Malawi
to the Netherlands (up to tree months validity), have to be applied for at
the German Embassy in Lilongwe. MVV visa (visa required to enter the Netherlands
allowing to apply for a temporary residence permit) should, however, be applied
for at the Netherlands Consulate in Malawi, which will forward the application
to the Netherlands Embassy Lusaka. This procedure can take up to three months.
